Cointreau Gravy

COINTREAU GRAVY

turkey pan drippings
splash of Cointreau
1-3 TBS flour
2 cups chicken or turkey stock
juice from one orange
no extra salt necessary

Method

Deglaze turkey pan with Cointreau. Pour juices into skillet on medium-high heat. Thicken the gravy with flour by adding one TBS at a time and incorporating it thoroughly before adding the next. Pour in the orange juice and stock, stirring well. If it’s too thin, reduce it down to desired thickness (it will continue to thicken as long as it is cooking). If it’s too thick, add a little more stock, Cointreau or water to thin it out a little. Pour this gravy over anything. Enjoy!
